Covozi (“Covozi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates from Tamil Nadu, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when creators, fans, advertisers, and other users access Covozi and its connected services.

Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, country, account handle, profile information, login and account details, creator settings, content you create or configure in Covozi, support communications, and information submitted through Covozi forms and creator experiences.

When you connect third-party services such as Kit, Instagram, or YouTube, we may receive account identifiers, connection status, profile or channel information, permissions, and other information necessary to provide the connection. Authentication tokens and related credentials are used only to provide the requested integration and are handled according to the applicable provider requirements.

We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, usage information, security logs, cookies, and similar technologies required to operate, secure, and improve Covozi.

How we use information

We use personal information to provide and operate Covozi, create and maintain accounts, provide creator Hubs and landing pages, process creator-authorized signups and interactions, connect third-party services, provide social and email integrations, operate creator tools and automations, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, improve the service, and comply with applicable law.

Kit integration

Creators may connect their own Kit account to Covozi using Kit’s OAuth authorization process.

When a creator enables this integration, Covozi may send creator-authorized subscriber information, including email addresses and relevant signup information, to the creator’s own Kit account. Depending on the Covozi experience configured by the creator, this may include assigning subscribers to Kit Forms, tags, sequences, custom fields, or other supported Kit destinations.

Kit remains responsible for its own platform, subscriber management, email delivery, broadcasts, automations, and processing performed within Kit. Creators should also review Kit’s own privacy policy and terms.

Covozi does not sell a creator’s Kit subscriber list or provide that subscriber list to advertisers.

Social account connections

Creators may connect supported social accounts, including Instagram and YouTube, through Covozi’s social connection provider. During authorization, the underlying provider may identify itself as “Social Media Connector.”

Covozi uses these connections only for creator-authorized features, account management, publishing or automation capabilities, analytics, connection-health checks, and other functions selected by the creator.

Creator-collected information

Creators may use Covozi to collect information from their audiences through landing pages, forms, quizzes, assessments, appointments, and other creator experiences.

The creator determines the purpose for which this audience information is collected and how it is subsequently used in the creator’s connected services. Creators are responsible for providing appropriate notices and obtaining any consent required for their own collection and marketing activities.

Covozi processes this information as necessary to provide the creator’s requested Covozi functionality and integrations.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers and integration partners only where necessary to operate Covozi or provide a feature requested by the user. This may include infrastructure, hosting, security, email-service, social-platform, analytics, and other technology providers.

When a creator connects a third-party service, information may be transmitted to that provider as required to perform the requested integration.

We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, security, and integrity of Covozi, our users, or others.

We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Covozi, maintain security and records, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Information associated with a connected service may be deleted or disconnected when the creator removes that integration, subject to necessary security, legal, backup, and audit retention requirements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may update certain account information through Covozi and disconnect supported third-party integrations.

You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information where applicable, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or raise a privacy concern.

India’s Digital Personal Data Protection framework provides rights and obligations concerning digital personal data, including requirements around informed consent and withdrawal of consent.

International services

Covozi may use service providers and integration partners located outside India. Where information is processed internationally, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements appropriate to the services being delivered and applicable legal requirements.

Children

Covozi is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental or guardian consent is required by applicable law. If we become aware that information has been collected contrary to applicable requirements, we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Covozi evolves or legal and operational requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
